Job Title: Bilingual Payroll/Human Resources Specialist
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Length of Assignment: Permanent
Salary: $70,000 – $85,000/year + bonus + RRSP

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full cycle payroll processing for 500+ employees across Canada
  • Back up for payroll processing when required
  • Management of payroll month-end and year-end
  • Remittances and deductions
  • Employee relations
  • Recruitment, on-boarding, and off-boarding of employees
  • Support Human Resources/Payroll team with additional duties when required
  • Participate in software upgrades and implementation projects


  • 4-5+ years of experience in Payroll and Human Resources
  • Experience closing and balancing payroll on an annual basis
  • PCP or CHRP designation is an asset
  • Ability to participate in system implementations and provide recommendations
  • Fluency in both French and English
  • Experience working with either Ceridian or ADP
  • Advanced level excel skills (v look ups and pivot tables)
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
