Job Title: Legal Assistant
Location: Toronto, Ontario (hybrid)
Length of Assignment: Permanent, Full time
Salary: $55,000 – $65,000/year + bonus + benefits

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, draft, edit and finalize closing agendas and all transactional documents
  • Organize and track delivery of documents
  • Prepare documentation and agreements
  • Initial drafting of legal correspondence and documents
  • Manage organization and workflow
  • Monitor deadlines for multiple files to ensure tasks are completed
  • Liaise with clients and other lawyers to take instructions, obtain information, and report on status


  • 3-5+ years of related experience is required
  • Post-secondary education related to legal administration or related is a strong asset
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Experience with iManage and DocuSign
  • Able to work independently, requiring minimal supervision
  • Ability to problem-solve with good judgement and decision making
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
